A Little Bit of Ludicrousy

I spotted this video over at Deus Ex Malcontent, and thought it was worth posting.

I think it is amazing how someone can be angry and worked up enough to go to a rally without having done any thinking through of the issue. When asked why he thought Obama was a fascist, the best that guy could come up with is "Because he is"? Right...

Edit: Of course, when making fun of the lack of thought of others I had to go and make a grammatical error in the title... it should be "A Little Bit of Ludicrousness"... apparently, ludicrousy is not a word.

Dear morans: Fascism != Socialism. You can't be both. They're not just insults, they're actual political philosophies with real meanings and stances on issues behind them. Taking money from the taxpayers and giving it to the financial and auto sectors is not socialism, it's not fascism either, I don't really know what ideology it falls under.

PS, I would have said ludicrousy too.

Hey, they don't even know what "teabagging" means. So I think you should give them credit for even knowing the word fascism.

Cornucrapia, thanks for letting me know I'm not crazy in thinking ludicrousy is a word... but we come from the same town, so maybe it is some sort of regional ignorance?

Neuroskeptic, point well taken... I'm not sure if people going to the 'teabagger' rallies really realise just how utterly ridiculous the entire thing is. My favourite part is still the fact that so many people proudly proclaim that the original Boston Teaparty was against 'taxation without representation', but now they are fighting 'taxation with representation', not realising that 'without' was actually the operant word in that original phrase and not 'taxation'...
